A traditional woodsman hidden under an autumn olive's drooping branches.

The young buck had no inkling that death lurked under the autumn olive, downwind of his trail. Natural cover offers an abundance of ambush sites, once a post hunter learns what to look for. Old Northwest Territory, east of the headwaters of the River Raisin, 1798.
