Searching for wild turkeys, Msko waagosh, the Red Fox, ventured into a small hollow. A hastily-built, cedar-bush shelter told of an unknown woodsman’s intrusion into the forest and fens just east of the River Raisin. He studied the abandoned camp, which appeared unused for many moons. Concerned, the returned captive stalked on to the south, moving with greater care and an increased sense of caution.
