A Good Day

Dear readers,

It seems good to once again post to the Traditional Black Powder Hunting site!

Thank you for your patience during the last two years. There are still many obstacles ahead for our family, but for now, I’m trying very hard to get back to writing more often, and hopefully posting to this site on a regular basis.

Michigan’s “stay-at-home order” is not much different from a normal work day, other than I don’t travel and avoid personal contacts. So the governor’s order does not amount to “found time,” but rather complicates my/our situation. Daily demands still far exceed allotted time and will for the foreseeable future.

The spirit of our forefathers remained undaunted in troubling times, and we must carry on that tradition. As Americans, each of us possesses many blessings and gifts. Opportunities abound, but sometimes we must search them out. At the least, our challenge is to tap into our personal gifts and share them as blessings to others.

Perhaps an 18th-century time-traveling exploit is what some readers need to make it through a rough day. With that in mind, I am trying to rearrange my priorities and share a few scribblings from a folded journal page. I pray my efforts will be a blessing for you. Enjoy!

So if you like what you read, please share the Traditional Black Powder Hunting URL with family, friends and neighbors.

Be safe and may God bless you and yours.
